While many Plymouth Township residents were doing their spring cleanup, the township government was cutting a backroom deal with Meijer. This proposed dirty deal is set to go before the Planning Commission this Wednesday, June 21st. If approved, the project will move forward without any vote from the Board of Trustees or any input from the community.
This dirty deal calls for using $15 million of our tax dollars to fund the clean up of the former DeHoco Property. The DeHoco property was once owned by Detroit. It was used by the city to house prisoners and to dump waste. Now the Township government wants to use our tax dollars to clean up Detroit’s mess, and bring crime to our neighborhoods.
Call the Chair of the Planning Commission Chairman, Dennis Cebulski at 734-455-2719 and tell him to stop this dirty deal
